PR1MA Unveils PR1MA Komuniti+ To Strengthen Neighbourhood Ties

Kuala lumpur: Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) today launched its latest initiative, PR1MA Komuniti+, with the first programme held at Residensi Pulau Sebang here. The affordable housing agency under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), which caters to the M40 group, said in a statement that the initiative reflects PR1MA's aim to strengthen neighbourhood ties and foster community development, going beyond its primary role.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the organisation of PR1MA Komuniti+ is part of PR1MA's support for the Malaysia MADANI agenda, which emphasises people's well-being, sustainability and inclusivity. "The PR1MA Komuniti+ event at Residensi Pulau Sebang today has various activities and brings together residents, government and private agencies, as well as small and medium entrepreneurs within the community," the statement said.

The statement further highlighted that PR1MA is promoting M-Niaga, a commercial space offered across PR1MA projects nationwide as a platform to drive community economic activities. PR1MA chairman Datuk Azrulnizam Abdul Aziz stated that PR1MA Komuniti+ aligns with its aspiration to build more inclusive and resilient communities. He emphasized that strong neighbourhoods are not built solely on quality housing but also on social networks, community activities, and economic opportunities that benefit all segments of society.

Meanwhile, PR1MA Group chief executive officer and member of corporation Datuk Seri Mohd Nazri Md Shariff mentioned that PR1MA Komuniti+ reinforces the agency's commitment to go beyond providing affordable housing. "Through M-Niaga, PR1MA opens up business opportunities for local small and medium entrepreneurs, boosting socio-economic activities and adding value to PR1MA communities nationwide," he said.

Other highlights of PR1MA Komuniti+ included information sharing sessions on ongoing campaigns such as the Rumah PR1MA Kita discounts of up to 25 per cent (running until Dec 31, 2025), the PR1MA referral programme, promotions for smart home devices, and briefings on housing legal processes such as the memorandum of transfer. The event also featured exhibitions from government agencies, financial institutions and law firms. There were also food stalls by the residential community and various activities, including carnival games, a petting zoo, children's colouring contests and e-sports competitions.
