Kuala Lumpur:Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) secured two honors at the Malaysia HR Tech and Innovation Conference and Expo 2026, held on September 22 and 23.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Prasarana was recognized with the HR Tech Organisation of the Year award, acknowledging its accomplishments in transforming training and human capital development through technology. This transformation centralizes access to learning resources, assessments, and analytics while providing a self-directed, mobile, and personalized learning experience enhanced by Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).

The Prasarana Learning Management System (PALMS) was specifically developed to deliver consistent training to more than 13,000 employees across rail, bus, technical, and corporate operations in the Klang Valley and Penang.

In addition to the organization's accolade, Muhammad Azfar Amran from Prasarana's Learning and Development Department received the Early Tech HR Professional Award for his role in driving the digital learning transformation through PALMS.

Prasarana Group's chief human capital officer, Dr. Harigaran Bharatham, stated that the recognition highlights the company's ongoing efforts to enhance human capital development and organizational capability in line with technological advancements and workforce requirements. This acknowledgment elevates Prasarana alongside leading national conglomerates.

The Malaysia HR Tech and Innovation Conference and Expo 2026 brought together over 2,000 leaders and innovators to discuss technological advancements and HR strategies for creating organizations that are more adaptive and competitive.
