Manila – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. extended his congratulations to the successful examinees of the 2023 Bar examinations on Tuesday. In his message, the President emphasized the importance of maintaining a fair and equitable justice system in the country. He urged the new lawyers to uphold integrity and stay true to their calling to practice law, focusing on ensuring that every Filipino benefits from a just legal system.
According to Philippines News Agency, The President’s congratulatory statement followed the Supreme Court’s announcement of the Bar exam results. A total of 3,812 candidates passed the examinations, representing a passing rate of 36.77 percent out of the 10,387 hopefuls who took the exams in September. This year’s passing rate marked a decrease from last year’s 43.47 percent.
