Kuala Lumpur:Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has confirmed receiving the resignation letter from Anthony Loke, the Transport Minister. Anwar plans to discuss the resignation with Loke, emphasizing that there are no concerns regarding Loke's performance, which he described as very good.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar expressed confusion over media attention on Loke's resignation when issues like corruption and misappropriation also require focus. He questioned why there is a call for Loke's resignation when no wrongdoing like 'sakau' (misappropriation) is involved.

Loke confirmed that he submitted his resignation as a Cabinet member to Anwar yesterday.
