Putrajaya: Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar has invited the public to attend the Malaysia Bermunajat event at the Putra Mosque in Putrajaya tomorrow. Mohd Na'im announced that the event, which will run from 6 pm to 9 pm, will also feature the attendance of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysia Bermunajat event aims to serve as a platform for attendees to reconnect with Allah SWT, seek forgiveness, and pray for peace, unity, and blessings for Malaysia. The minister emphasized that the event symbolizes the unity of the ummah in upholding the Malaysia MADANI agenda, which is based on the principles of ihsan (compassion) and human well-being.
The programme will include congregational Maghrib and Isyak prayers, solat hajat, a religious lecture (bayan) by Maulana Tariq Jamil, and a special address by the Prime Minister. Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar encouraged all Malaysians, irrespective of their backgrounds, to participate in the event to strengthen spiritual resilience and reinforce unity through prayer and worship.
