Negeri sembilan: Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun has urged the people in the state to display the Jalur Gemilang correctly. He emphasized that properly flying the flag not only reflects patriotic spirit but also demonstrates respect for the nation and unity among the people, especially ahead of the National Day.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Aminuddin stressed the importance of avoiding controversies related to the flag's display on social media by adhering to the correct guidelines. He encouraged the public to fly the flag in its complete and proper form, ensuring that no Jalur Gemilang is torn or faded, and to hoist it with respect and decorum as a reflection of Malaysian values.

He further stated that the spirit of patriotism should be embraced by all citizens and not be regarded as exclusively belonging to the older generation or dismissed as irrelevant in the modern context. Aminuddin highlighted the role of the younger generation as the nation's future custodians, emphasizing the need for them to have a sound understanding of history and a sense of responsibility. He urged for them to be nurtured to become citizens who are confident in voicing their views, while remaining respectful and courteous.

Earlier in the day, all district officers across Negeri Sembilan received the Jalur Gemilang as a symbolic gesture marking the launch of the flag-raising campaign in their respective districts.
