Puspanita JPM Mount Kinabalu Summit Mission Reflects Commitment Of Women Civil Servants

Kuala lumpur: The Mount Kinabalu summit mission organised by the Malaysian Association of the Wives and Women Civil Servants (Puspanita), Prime Minister's Department (JPM) branch, this month reflects efforts to strengthen the physical, mental and emotional resilience of women in the civil service.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Director-general of Public Service Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz, who is also adviser to the Puspanita JPM branch, emphasized the importance of such climbing programmes in building individual resilience. He described the expedition to climb Mount Kinabalu, which stands at 4,095 metres, as more than just a journey to the summit, but also a journey to conquer oneself through discipline, determination and an understanding of the meaning of patience.

The mission, led by Puspanita JPM branch chairman Dr Azlifah Bahari, is taking place from July 14 to 17 and involves 16 participants comprising staff from various JPM departments and agencies. Wan Ahmad Dahlan also reminded participants of the importance of adhering to all safety procedures and environmental guidelines throughout the expedition.

He underscored the spirit of cooperation fostered within Puspanita, expressing confidence in the success of the journey and hoping for the mission to proceed smoothly under divine protection.
