Kuala lumpur: Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, today visited three underprivileged families in the Kluang district. According to a post on the official Facebook page of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, Her Majesty presented cash donations and basic necessities through the Yayasan Raja Zarith Sofiah Negeri Johor (YRZSNJ).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, The visit began at the residence of 102-year-old senior citizen Saimah Sajiman in Kampung Rahmat, who is currently being cared for by her grandson, Hairul Nizam, who also supports five other family members. The visit was a significant moment for the family, providing them with much-needed support and attention.

Next, Her Majesty visited 28-year-old stroke and epilepsy patient N. Sivabalan, who is also caring for his mother. The visit offered a moment of relief and encouragement for Sivabalan and his family, highlighting the Queen's commitment to providing support to those in need.

The final visit was to mechanic Lee Yee Teng, 52, who is suffering from diabetes and supports a household of nine. Her Majesty's presence brought hope and assistance, underscoring the importance of community and royal support for those facing health and economic challenges.

Assistance based on the specific needs of each family was channelled through the royal foundations, namely the Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation, the Sultanah Fatimah Foundation, and the Sultanah Rogayah Foundation. The assistance included house repairs and new furniture such as beds, wardrobes, and study desks and chairs.

Also present to accompany Her Majesty were Che' Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor, PUSPANITA Johor State Branch chairperson Datin Siti Azizah Omar, and Kluang district officer Azurawati Wahid, highlighting the collaborative effort to support these families.
