Queen of Malaysia Commends Balvinder’s Intl Medical Research Achievement

London: Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, has issued a letter of commendation to Balvinder Dhillon for bringing honour to Malaysia on the international stage in the field of medical research. Balvinder, 24, a graduate in biomedical engineering, has achieved significant recognition by winning two prestigious annual Global Undergraduate Awards in Dublin, Ireland, for two consecutive years. She is currently advancing her studies in Human and Biological Robotics at Imperial College London.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the letter from Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah was presented by Istana Negara administrative officer (Administration) Zulfadli Zakaria at the Malaysian High Commission office in London. This event was highlighted in a post shared on the official Facebook page of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.

Balvinder expressed her gratitude for this recognition, emphasizing her hope that her success would serve as an inspiration for the younger generation in Malaysia to strive for excellence in their respective fields for the future of the nation. She stated, "The letter from Her Majesty the Queen of Malaysia is truly meaningful as it recognises not only my own efforts, but also the unwavering support of my family, mentors, and the country that I am proud of."

Balvinder further remarked that the commendation serves as a reminder of Malaysia's capability to produce world-class talent, and she humbly conveyed her deepest gratitude for the honour.
