Kuala Perlis:Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail visited the Community Learning Centre in Kampung Seberang Ramai as part of the Kayuhan MAIPs Peduli programme organized by the Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the visit included the company of Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil, as well as other officials such as Perlis State Secretary Datuk Noor Azman Abdul Rahman, Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah, and MAIPs Chief Executive Officer Mohd Nazim Mohd Noor.

During the visit, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra observed an ongoing English tuition class for the local community's students. The students participated in sessions and talks on topics like bullying prevention, identifying false information, and cybersecurity, aimed at providing early exposure to digital safety.

The programme also featured discussions on consumer safety and the integrity of the national communications network, emphasizing the safe and responsible use of communication facilities to protect against online scams and cyber threats.

Participants had the chance to engage with the community and explore the unique local identity and heritage through the Royal Transformation Project at Kampung Nelayan Warna-Warni. The visit also included stops at local attractions such as Laman Congkak and Laman Laksa.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra, as MAIPs president, presented contributions to three selected asnaf recipients: Idrus Remli, Salmiah Hamzah, and Rusnani Khamis, in conjunction with the 68th edition of the Kayuhan MAIPs Peduli programme.

Kayuhan MAIPs Peduli is a regular initiative by MAIPs aimed at engaging with the community, providing assistance to those in need, and promoting healthy lifestyles. This reflects MAIPs' commitment to community welfare and engagement.
