Kota kinabalu: PKR vice-president Datuk Seri R. Ramanan is confident that the people of Sabah will make the right choice by basing their decision on facts and reality rather than emotion when casting their ballots in tomorrow’s 17th Sabah State Election. Speaking to reporters after observing the last-minute preparations at the Moyog State Legislative Assembly’s main operations room, he said that although this year’s polls have been described as being intense and challenging, there is no denying the Federal Government’s role in showing concern for the state and its people.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ramanan emphasized that the MADANI Government has shown extraordinary commitment in safeguarding the interests of Sabah as a whole. He noted that Datuk Seri Anwar is the only Prime Minister to have most frequently visited Sabah to ensure that development implementation is progressing well. As polling day approaches, Ramanan is confident that the people of Sabah will elect the best candidates for a more stable, prosperous, and assured future. He also stressed the importance of maintaining the current strong relationship between the Federal Government and the state government, which he described as being at its best. Ramanan believes that a friendly and close relationship is crucial for ensuring that proper attention is given to the welfare of the people of Sabah.
