Kuala Lumpur: Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd (Rapid Bus), the operator of Rapid KL bus services and MRT feeder buses, will introduce seven new routes with 18 vans under the On-Demand service starting Monday, March 10. The new routes will serve areas including UNITEN-Bangi, LRT Wangsa Maju-Sri Rampai, Titiwangsa-Chow Kit, Bandar Kinrara-Jalan Puchong, Taman OUG-Kuchai Lama, Bukit Antarabangsa-Setiawangsa, and Taman Melati-Gombak Setia.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Rapid Bus acting chief executive officer Ku Jamil Zakaria stated that since its launch in 2023, the On-Demand service has been operating 19 routes. He mentioned that additional routes will be introduced gradually by June as more new vans are acquired, enhancing travel convenience for passengers.
The Rapid KL On-Demand service ensures guaranteed seating, which can be reserved through the Mobi, Trek Rides, or Kummute apps depending on the service area. The service operates from 6 am to 11.30 pm. Rapid Bus has announced that the RM1 promotional fare will continue to be offered to encourage more people to use the service.
