Kuala lumpur: Rapid KL in a statement today announced that every 20 completed journeys entitles passengers to redeem a Touch 'n Go e-wallet pin worth RM5, while 30 journeys entitles passengers to redeem RM10. 'Passengers only need to register by scanning the QR code provided on the feeder bus and using the same card to collect journeys and the first 1,000 passengers will be selected for redemption,' he said.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the campaign is open to all cashless users utilizing the LRT and MRT feeder bus services. This includes users of the My50 Pass, MyCity, MyTourist, MyRapid Concession Card, OKU Smile, and Touch 'n Go cards. Rapid KL is targeting a 6.8 percent growth in ridership over the period, compared to the first phase of the campaign which recorded an average bus ridership of 5.5 percent at the end of last year.

'This campaign clearly demonstrates that feeder buses are increasingly gaining ground as the preferred choice for first-and-last mile travel,' the statement said. Rapid KL's initiative is a testament to its ongoing efforts to enhance convenience and encourage cashless transactions among its user base.
