He narrowly outpaced Matteo Malucelli of XDS Astana Team, the leader in the best sprinter classification, while Seppe Van Den Boer from Tudor Pro Cycling Team finished third with the same time. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Pickrell attributed his win to the exceptional support from his teammates, emphasizing their role in positioning him favorably during the final sprints against Malucelli. This victory was especially significant for Pickrell after his previous runner-up finishes to Malucelli in earlier stages of the race. Despite the respect he holds for Malucelli, Pickrell remains committed to striving for victory in future sta ges. Lennart Jasch of Tudor Pro Cycling Team retained the overall leader's Orange Jersey, maintaining a 42-second advantage over Jan Castellon Ribalt of Caja Rural-Seguros RGA. Jasch also leads the King of the Mountain classification, while Malucelli holds the Blue Jersey in the points classification, with Pickrell trailing by five points. In the Best Asian Rider category, Japan's Yuhi Todome continues to lead, followed by Malaysian cyclists Tsen Ren Bao and Tsen Ren Han in second and third place, respectively. Stage Seven will challenge the riders with a 158.9 km course from Dataran Pahlawan in Melaka to Jalan Rahmat, Batu Pahat, featuring sprint zones in Tangkak, Bukit Kepong, and Parit Sulong.
