Kuala Lumpur:Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) has formed a strategic partnership with YTL Corporation Berhad, designated as the Main Sponsor, to broadcast the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026, ensuring live coverage of major sports events for Malaysians.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this partnership allows RTM to serve as the Official Broadcaster, delivering live coverage of five selected matches, including three Group A matches featuring Malaysia, the third-place playoff, and the final match.

The matches will be available on the Sukan RTM and Sukan+ RTM channels, and via online streaming through the RTMKlik application. Malaysia's recent match against Bangladesh at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta was broadcast live. Upcoming broadcasts include Malaysia's matches against Indonesia and Singapore, as well as the group third-place playoff and final.

YTL's involvement as the Main Sponsor underscores corporate support for sports development and broadcasting. This initiative aligns with RTM's mission to provide quality content accessible to all segments of society, aiming to boost the morale of supporters and the Malaysian team throughout the tournament.
