Sabah Chief Minister Urges Voters to Choose Proven Leadership in Upcoming Election

Kudat: Sabahans are reminded not to vote for a political party that has failed to govern the state in the 17th Sabah state election, said Chief Minister and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor. Instead, he advised Sabahans to vote for GRS, which has shown good performance and has been able to govern Sabah well over the past five years.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the GRS government has implemented various initiatives and programmes as well as increased economic development, including revenue collection and state reserves. Hajiji highlighted that these achievements are a success that the people should be proud of. He emphasized the aim to elevate Sabah to a level comparable to other states in the country after the election.

Hajiji made these remarks at the Rumah Kita, Kita Jaga GRS Banggi and Tanjong Kapor campaign at Dataran Tomborungus Kudat. Also present were the GRS Banggi candidate Datuk Mohammad Mohamarin and GRS Tanjong Kapor candidate Datuk Chong Chen Bin. He urged the residents of Banggi and Tanjong Kapor to select the party's candidates as their representatives, commending both candidates for their vision in developing education and infrastructure in the area.

Furthermore, Hajiji stated that a mandate for GRS in the 17th Sabah polls would enable the continuation of the Sabah Maju Jaya 2.0 Roadmap agenda. Over the past five years, the state has seen economic growth, attracted investors, and established the Blue Economy Industrial Park in Kudat, which promises job opportunities for local residents. He cautioned voters to be wary of leaders or parties that portray GRS as a failed government.
