Sabah Polls: UPKO Announces Bid For 25 State Seats

Kota kinabalu: The United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) today announced it will contest 25 seats in the upcoming 17th Sabah state election. The announcement was made by its president, Datuk Ewon Benedick, in a statement here today. According to BERNAMA News Agency, the list of UPKO candidates for the state election includes Junsim Rumunzing in Bengkoka, Suzie Salapan in Bandau, and Jamil M Zakariah @ Majingkin in Tandek. Datuk Ewon Benedick will contest in Kadamaian, while Datuk Seri Madius Tangau is set to run in Tamparuli. Other candidates include Joisin Romut for Kiulu, Datuk Wong Thien Fook for Inanam, Dennison R Indang for Tanjung Aru, and Lee Nyuk Soon @ Jason Lee for Petagas. Rosday Wasli will contest in Tanjung Keramat, with Billy Joe Dominic running in Kapayan, and Datuk Donald Peter Mojuntin in Moyog. Further, the list includes Datuk Nelson W Angang for Limbahau, Rowindy Lawrence Odong for Membakut, Rogers Tiam @ Aloysius for Kundasang, and Georgina L George for Karanaan. Kennedy Jie J ohn @ Kenn is set to contest in Bingkor, while Wilson Gan Poi Tze will run in Liawan, and Junik Bajit in Melalap. Additionally, Mohd Khairil Abdullah will represent UPKO in Tulid, Junilin @ Jubilin Kilan in Nabawan, Felix Joseph Saang in Telupid, Norfadzlina Ramsah in Labuk, Peter Jr Naintin in Gum-Gum, and Mohina Sidom @ Mohina Ronnie Sidom in Kuamut.
