Sabah’s New Cabinet Members Take Oath Of Office

Sabah: Sabah's new Cabinet, formed following the 17th State Election, has been sworn in. The swearing-in ceremony at Istana Seri Kinabalu began at 3.36 pm today before Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, early Sunday morning, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor was sworn in as the 17th Chief Minister. In the state election, GRS secured the largest number of seats, winning 29 out of the 73 seats available.

Parti Warisan (Warisan) followed with 25 seats, while Barisan Nasional secured six. Independents won five seats, United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) took three, and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) claimed two. Perikatan Nasional (PN), Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM), and Pakatan Harapan (PH) each managed to win one seat.
