Accra:Sunway Lost World of Tambun The ancient limestone caves of Sunway Lost World of Tambun have been transformed into a living nightmare for the Sawadee Screamfest 5. During a media preview, the grounds were filled with ghastly figures as part of the horror festival, leaving visitors with a sense of fear and unease despite strict rules against physical contact between actors and guests.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the fifth edition of this homegrown horror festival will be held over nine selected nights in October and early November. It offers a fresh twist by immersing visitors in Thailand's eerie folklore and supernatural legends. Brian Francis, general manager of Sunway Lost World of Tambun, noted that the event will run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout October, featuring Thai legends, spooky surprises, and plenty of screams.

This year's Screamfest explores a distinctive cultural world with eight spine-tingling haunted attractions, each with its own terrifying narrative. These include Dead Man's Rail, The Curse of Kong Koi, Tandas Phi Kee, Haunted Chamber featuring Hong Rai, Kra Hang's Night Flight, The Susuk Chambers, The Eternal Theatre, and the Luminous Forest. Visitors can also enjoy selected theme park rides and live shows.

The event is set against the backdrop of lush tropical surroundings and dramatic limestone formations, complementing the park's existing attractions like natural hot springs and family-oriented activities.
