Shah alam: The Selangor-level 68th National Day celebration will be held on August 30, announced Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari. Amirudin confirmed that the parade will proceed as in previous years. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Amirudin highlighted that a special address is scheduled for Friday, August 29. During this address, he will deliver an important message to department heads and community representatives, detailing Selangor's strategic direction leading up to 2026. This address will also introduce several government plans, including the First Selangor Plan (RS-1) and the Selangor Smart State initiatives. Amirudin shared these updates with reporters after launching the state-level Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign, which was held in conjunction with the 2025 National Day celebration at Dewan Jubli Perak. At the event, representatives from Selangor's nine districts, land offices, and 12 local authorities were presented with the Jalur Gemilang. The ceremony was attended by Selangor State S ecretary Datuk Dr Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin and state executive councillors. Additionally, Amirudin launched the Selangor State Governance and Service Delivery Reform Framework (RSTU) and officiated the Selangor Civil Servants Assembly. This assembly was conducted both physically and online, with participation from over 1,000 state civil servants.
