Kuala lumpur: Several Rapid KL stations will be temporarily closed today due to security reasons in conjunction with the 47th ASEAN Summit, involving the Kelana Jaya, Putrajaya, and Kajang routes from 4 pm to 6 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Rapid KL announced that for the Kelana Jaya route, the stations affected are Ampang Park and KLCC, with Conlay, Persiaran KLCC, and Ampang Park stations on the Putrajaya route. For the Kajang route, it involves only the Bukit Bintang station.

Alternatively, users can utilize the Monorail service at Bukit Nanas, Raja Chulan, and Bukit Bintang stations or the Kelana Jaya Line at Kampung Baru Station via Saloma Bridge. The public transport operator confirmed that other stations not involved will operate as usual according to the daily operating schedule.

Additionally, bus services for the T407 route are also impacted and cannot operate temporarily due to road closures by the authorities. Bus operations will resume once the road reopens.
