Titiwangsa:AWG Muay Thai fighter Sharudin Yahya emerged victorious in the 52-kilogramme category at the Kuda Merah International Muaythai Challenge 2026 'Super Championships' after defeating Mohd Ikhwan Hakim of Gorilla Muay Thai.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sharudin secured his win with a third-round knockout at Titiwangsa Stadium, claiming the title belt despite facing a more experienced opponent.

Sharudin, 26, expressed surprise at his victory, noting the disparity in experience between himself and Mohd Ikhwan. While Sharudin has participated in around 30 fights, his opponent has fought over 100 times. Nevertheless, Sharudin hopes this win will inspire him to achieve further success in Muay Thai.

The championships, which commenced yesterday, include 14 title belts contested by 28 fighters from Malaysia and abroad.
