Smoother Travel With TNG NFC Cards, RFID Tags This Long Weekend – Touch ‘n Go

Kuala lumpur: Touch 'n Go Sdn Bhd (TNG) is encouraging motorists to use Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled cards and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags for smoother travel during the upcoming long weekend and Malaysia Day celebrations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the company stated that users can conveniently reload their TNG NFC cards or charms via the TNG eWallet app, eliminating the need for cash or visits to physical top-up kiosks. These NFC cards and charms are available in a range of designs, including collaborations with local artists and brands, reflecting TNG's dedication to supporting creativity and preserving Malaysia's cultural heritage.

TNG also advised users to register their cards in the eWallet app for added security, emphasizing the importance of the Know Your Customer (KYC) identity verification process, which ensures card balances remain protected in case of loss or theft. Additionally, RFID tags linked to the TNG e-wallet allow seamless passage through toll plazas without stopping. In cases where there is an insufficient balance, the newly introduced 'SOS Balance' feature permits eligible users to continue their journey and make the payment within 24 hours, without incurring extra charges.

TNG reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing user convenience, safety, and mobility, while continuing to introduce innovations that support stress-free, efficient travel. The products are available online at shop.touchngo.com.my and at TNG Service and Sales Centres in Nu Sentral and Bangsar South, as well as selected convenience stores and petrol stations.
