Sultan Ibrahim Receives Update On Mosque Projects In Johor

Johor bahru: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has received a report on the construction of five new mosques in Johor from state mufti Datuk Yahya Ahmad.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the construction involves two mosques in Johor Bahru and one each in Kluang, Mersing, and Kulai. The funding for these projects is being provided by a combination of the federal government, the Johor state government, and public contributions, as noted in a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's Facebook page.

The meeting with His Majesty, who also serves as the Sultan of Johor, was held at Istana Pasir Pelangi. Present at the meeting were Johor Islamic Religious Department director Datuk Nasri Md Ali and Johor Islamic Religious Council chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Radzi Mohd Amin.

In a separate audience, His Majesty also met with Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and State Secretary Datuk Mohammed Ridha Abd Kadir at the same location. State Lands and Mines director Datuk Mohammed Shakib Ali was also in attendance.
