Sultan of Brunei Undergoes Rest Period at National Heart Institute Due to Fatigue

Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has confirmed that the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, is currently at the National Heart Institute (IJN). Anwar stated that His Majesty was reportedly feeling fatigued and had chosen to rest at the medical facility.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar mentioned, "His Majesty is feeling a bit tired, so he's just resting at IJN," during a press conference on the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The confirmation came after media inquiries regarding the Sultan's absence from the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-China Summit held earlier in the day. Reports had emerged suggesting that His Majesty was undergoing treatment at IJN.
