Sultan of Pahang and Tengku Ampuan Extend Aid to Flood Victims in Kuantan

Kuantan: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, contributed food to flood victims in Kuantan. According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Pahang Sultanate shared via a Facebook post that the royal contribution was delivered to the victims by the Sultan of Pahang's Comptroller of the Royal Household, Major General Datuk Mohamed Zahari Yahya. The food distribution took place at two temporary evacuation centers, Taman Sri Mahkota and Wisma Belia, Indera Mahkota, in collaboration with the Pahang Sultanate Disaster Relief Team. Flood victim Nur Izzati Abdul Halim, 37, from Perumahan Makmur Jaya, expressed her appreciation for the royal couple's concern, noting her surprise and gratitude at receiving a meal from the palace kitchen. She highlighted the consistent food supply at the temporary evacuation centers, stating that meals arrived before the victims even felt hungry.
