Sultan Of Pahang Calls For Better Road Infrastructure

Pahang: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has called for road infrastructure in the state to be improved to reduce the risk of crashes. His Royal Highness emphasized the need for installing safety signs and lighting on highways and village roads, particularly along sharp bends, to ensure user safety.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Al-Sultan Abdullah expressed concern over the lack of lighting in certain areas, such as the Karak section of the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway. He highlighted his intention to inspect these areas personally. His Royal Highness also reminded drivers to check the condition of their vehicles and drive cautiously, especially in adverse weather conditions or when tired.

The Sultan of Pahang commented on road safety following the high number of fatal crashes, with 419 cases recorded in Pahang last year.
