Pantai kelanang: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, along with the Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Norashikin, participated in the KITA X Pesta Kelaut@Pantai Kelanang 2025 Run held here today. They were greeted by the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, and Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari upon their arrival at 7.30 am.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the run saw over 1,000 participants and was divided into two categories: five kilometers and three kilometers. Sultan Sharafuddin flagged off the event and then joined the participants in the run. The Sultan also took the opportunity to visit exhibition booths set up by government agencies and local entrepreneurs before departing the venue.

The royal couple also attended the Pertandingan Sukan Rakyat Pesta Kelaut 2025, which showcased traditional games such as pillow fighting, slippery pole climbing, beach tug of war, and coconut bowling, adding a cultural touch to the event.
