Seremban: Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) head coach Mohd Nidzam Jamil praised the performance shown by his men after defeating PDRM FC at home last night, but admitted that there were still many small aspects that needed to be improved. According to BERNAMA News Agency, the victory was important to restore the team's morale after losing to Selangor FC in the first quarter-final of the FA Cup last week, thus making their home ground a 'special stronghold' for NSFC. Nidzam emphasized the importance of securing three points at home while recognizing the need to refine certain details, such as timing and pressure during the match. He highlighted that improvements are necessary in commitment and strategies when facing strong opponents like PDRM FC. Nidzam also commended import player Joseph Esso for scoring the opening goal and acknowledged the collective effort of the team, which demonstrated significant improvement compared to their previous match against Selangor FC. Despite the victory, concerns remain as several key players are still recovering from injuries, with full recovery expected to take one to two weeks. Looking ahead to the second leg against Selangor FC in the FA Cup quarter-finals, Nidzam acknowledged the challenge but expressed confidence in his team's ability to rise with a positive spirit. NSFC currently holds the fifth position in the Super League standings with 11 points, while PDRM FC is positioned eighth with six points.
