Teen Girl Goes Missing in Shah Alam After Family Dispute


Shah Alam: A 16-year-old girl has been reported missing after she left her family’s home in Section 20 on Sunday, March 9. The incident has raised concerns as local authorities work to locate her.



According to BERNAMA News Agency, Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim stated that the girl’s father, aged 46, filed the missing person report at 9:27 am yesterday. The report followed a family disagreement where the father reprimanded his daughter for excessive mobile phone use and subsequently restricted her internet access.



The missing teenager was last seen departing her residence dressed in a white long-sleeve shirt, a black headscarf, black pants, and carrying a backpack. She is described as the second of five siblings and is a Form Four student at a secondary school in Shah Alam.



Further details provided by ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim indicate that the girl is 158 cm tall, weighs 53 kg, and has tan skin with a thin build. The police have urged anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the investigating officer, Insp Nor Sabryna Mohammad Taha, at 014-5130450.
