Waterloo: Teledyne DALSA, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies [NYSE: TDY], has introduced the XtiumS3 PCIe Gen4 family, a new line of frame grabbers designed to provide maximum sustained throughput for industrial applications requiring rapid image acquisition.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Xtium3-CLHS PX8, the initial model in this series, builds on the established Xtium2 platform. It supports the Camera Link HS® (CLHS) standard via the PCI Express Gen 4.0 interface. This innovative solution features a single-slot, single-cable design that supports up to seven CLHS lanes, each operating at 10.3125 Gbps. This configuration allows for acquisition bandwidths of 8.6 GB/s and enables host transfer rates up to 13.2 GB/s when using a PCIe Gen4 x8 slot.
