Tengku permaisuri selangor: Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin today graced the Highlights of the National School Resource Centre (PSS) TV Festival 2025 here. Her Royal Highness arrived at 10.10 am and was received by Education Ministry's Educational Resources and Technology Division (BSTP) director Aniza Kamarulzaman and Sinar Karangkraf chief executive officer Farah Hussamudin.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the festival, jointly organised by BSTP and Sinar Bestari, aims to position PSS TV as a creative digital learning platform with the involvement of schools nationwide. This year's edition featured 32 entries from primary and secondary schools across the country competing in eight categories, including Best Host, Best Editor, and Best PSS TV Teacher.
Themed 'Digital Transformation, Global Sustainability, Boundless Creativity Exploring the Future: Technology and Nature', the festival focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) as well as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Aniza stated that the PSS TV Festival provided a platform that connects students' capabilities with 21st-century educational needs while strengthening communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills, in addition to nurturing their talent in broadcasting and digital media.
'Through this festival, the ministry is confident more students will emerge as bold, innovative agents of change who are ready to contribute to the nation's development,' she said in a statement. Meanwhile, Farah mentioned that PSS TV also served as a catalyst in strengthening the education system by fostering digital literacy, collaboration, and communication-based leadership, in line with the ministry's aspiration to produce holistic, competitive students ready for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
PSS TV was established to train students in producing educational video content, while encouraging the mastery of media, journalism, and production skills in line with digital technology advancements.
