Terengganu PMR 2025 Programme Successfully Enhances Public Engagement: Mohamad Fauzi

Terengganu: The Terengganu MADANI Rakyat (PMR) 2025 Programme has emerged as an effective platform for disseminating information on government initiatives to the community, according to Communications Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa. He emphasized that the programme's direct engagement with the public ensures that community members can comprehend and benefit from the initiatives implemented, facilitated by direct interactions with participating government agencies and ministries over the last three days.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohamad Fauzi highlighted the programme's ability to provide interaction spaces, such as booths offering services and information. This setup allows the public to ask questions and gain a clear understanding of the initiatives. "When we make a product, if consumers don't understand what we want to convey, they don't know what the benefits are, but through this PMR, the people can interact directly and understand the benefits they get," he stated to reporters during his visit to the booths of Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) at the event held at Pasar Kedai Payang.

The PMR 2025 Programme offers a unique opportunity for the public to interact with government agencies and comprehend the initiatives being executed, ensuring alignment with the community's needs. RTM contributed by hosting engaging activities such as DJ corners and live coverage, while MCMC introduced the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) initiative, a one-stop centre providing internet access nationwide, especially in rural areas, with 1,099 NADIs established across the country.

Mohamad Fauzi encouraged the public to attend in large numbers, take advantage of the opportunity to receive information directly, and express their opinions. The PMR 2025 Terengganu event recorded an overwhelming response, with over 50,000 visitors, surpassing the initial target of 25,000 for the three-day event.

Themed "MADANI Development, Prosperous People," PMR 2025 was organized by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) through the Performance Acceleration and Coordination Unit (PACU) in strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Works (KKR) and the Implementation Coordination Unit, Prime Minister's Department (ICU JPM).
