Kuala lumpur: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) must intensify its strategic efforts to encourage more young Malaysians to make regular savings with the institution. Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Dr Zulkifli Hasan said this was crucial to ensure that TH remains relevant and able to compete with other Islamic financial institutions.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zulkifli emphasized the importance of attracting the younger generation to save with TH. He mentioned that one of the key reasons for TH's current rejuvenation efforts is to appeal to more young savers. Dr Zulkifli made these remarks during a media session after inaugurating the Tanweer MADANI Programme (Zamalah Retreat Series 2) organized by Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia.

Zulkifli also expressed strong confidence in TH's ability to manage the haj journey for Malaysian pilgrims. He highlighted that TH is recognized by the Saudi Arabian government as the leading haj management body globally, reinforcing belief in its management capabilities.
