According to BERNAMA News Agency, the ceremony recognized Cynthia Dwork, Ph.D. from the USA, for her contributions in the field of Electronics, Information, and Communication. In the field of Life Science, the award was presented to Shizuo Akira, Ph.D. from Japan, and Zhijian 'James' Chen, Ph.D. from the USA. Each recipient received 100 million Yen, along with a certificate and a medal, acknowledging their achievements and impact.
