Fuzhou: The 3rd Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development commenced in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. The event, a collaborative effort by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ACFROC) and the Fujian provincial government, was organized by the Fujian Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Fuzhou municipal government.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the conference centers on the permanent theme "Pooling the Wisdom of Overseas Chinese Talent to Fulfil the Chinese Dream" and an annual theme of "Uniting Overseas Chinese Talent, Forging a New Era of Innovation." The event includes five key sections: an opening ceremony, awards for excellent contributions, initiatives for gathering and cultivating overseas Chinese talent, strategies for attracting overseas Chinese talent, and the release of achievements from the QIAOZHIHUI (Overseas Chinese Talent Convergence) Platform. These programs aim to establish a high-level platform for open collaboration and talent exchange, enhancing the integration of science, technology, talent, and industry both domestically and internationally.
