Three Clinics in Johor Resume Operations After Floods: Dr Dzulkefly

Kuala Lumpur: The Health Ministry announced that three out of four clinics in Johor affected by recent floods have resumed operations. Its minister, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, stated that the clinics at Maju Jaya, Plentong, and Batu 4, Kota Tinggi are now operational, while the clinic in Kangkar Tebrau has temporarily relocated its services to the Majidee health clinic.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Dzulkefly mentioned that efforts are underway to restore services at the Kangkar Tebrau clinic as swiftly as possible. He made these remarks while distributing bubur lambuk at Puncak Alam Econsave.

Dr Dzulkefly also acknowledged the dedication of health ministry staff affected by the floods in Johor, who continue to perform their duties despite the challenges posed by the natural disaster.

Furthermore, he disclosed that 1,512 notices under Section 32B of the Food Act 1983 have been issued to Ramadan bazaar operators nationwide for various offences since the start of Ramadan. He urged food operators to address these issues promptly to prevent food poisoning incidents, emphasizing the necessity for operators to receive anti-typhoid shots and to wear aprons while serving food.
