Kuala terengganu: The Terengganu Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chief Datuk Razali Idris, along with two other party leaders in Terengganu, have announced their resignations from their respective party positions. Razali Idris stated that he submitted his resignation letter as the state party chief to Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on July 16. Despite this, Razali, who also serves as a Terengganu State Executive Council member, has yet to receive a response from the top leadership regarding the acceptance of his resignation.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Razali mentioned, "So far, the party headquarters including Muhyiddin have not confirmed or made a decision to accept or reject my resignation." He further added that he plans to resign as the Marang Bersatu division chief by the middle of this month, but has delayed this decision to complete necessary administrative tasks.

Additionally, Telemong state assemblyman Mohd Zawawi Ismail has stepped down as the Terengganu State Bersatu information chief, while Hulu Besut assemblyman Mohd Husaimi Hussin has resigned from his role as the State Bersatu treasurer. Both Mohd Zawawi and Mohd Husaimi confirmed their resignations when contacted by Bernama and are in the process of submitting their official resignation letters to the central Bersatu leadership.

Despite their resignations from state leadership positions, Razali, Mohd Zawawi, and Mohd Husaimi have stated that they will continue to remain as members of the party.
