Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds expected to affect six states and Labuan until noon today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas include parts of Perak, specifically Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak; Selangor, including Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor; and Negeri Sembilan, particularly Port Dickson.

The warning also extends to Melaka and Sarawak, covering regions such as Sibu (Selangau), Mukah, Kapit, and Bintulu.

In Sabah, areas expected to be impacted include Pedalaman (Kuala Penyu and Beaufort), Tawau, and Sandakan (Kinabatangan and Sandakan).

MetMalaysia advises residents in these regions to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this period of adverse weather conditions.
