Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning regarding thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in the regions of Sabah and Sarawak, which will remain in effect until 6 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's statement highlighted that specific areas in Sarawak, including Kapit (Belaga) and Limbang, are expected to experience these weather conditions. Furthermore, in Sabah, the regions of Interior (Sipitang and Beaufort) and the West Coast (Papar and Penampang) are also anticipated to be impacted by the severe weather.
