Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain to Impact Eight Malaysian States and Labuan Until 1 AM

Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to affect eight states and Labuan until 1 AM.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather forecast indicating these conditions in multiple areas. The states affected include Penang and various districts in Kedah such as Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim, and Bandar Baharu. Additionally, Perak is expected to experience similar conditions in Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, and Kinta.

The forecast also covers parts of Kelantan, specifically Jeli and Gua Musang, as well as Dungun and Kemaman in Terengganu. In Pahang, Cameron Highlands, Lipis, and Jerantut are anticipated to be affected. In Sarawak, the weather conditions are expected in Kapit, including Bukit Mabong and Belaga, Miri districts such as Beluru and Telang Usan, and the Limbang area.

Furthermore, Labuan and various regions in Sabah are also forecasted to be impacted, especially in the Interior areas like Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, and Nabawan. The West Coast regions of Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, and Kota Belud, along with Sandakan's Tongod area, are expected to experience the adverse weather conditions.
