MANILA – A ticket bought from Metro Manila hit Mega Lotto’s jackpot prize of PHP94,470,811.60 drawn on Friday night.
The ticket bearing the winning combination of 41-44-23-03-17-05 was bought from an outlet in Quezon City, according to the advisory of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Saturday.
The winner has one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize at the PCSO office in Mandaluyong City.
Lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 will be subjected to 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.
Meanwhile, 34 other bettors won PHP32,000 each for guessing five of the six winning digits; 1,543 will get PHP1,000 each for four correct digits; and 28,022 will settle for PHP30 each for three correct digits.
The 6/45 Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. (PNA)
