Tokyo: Toshiba Electronic Devices and Storage Corporation ("Toshiba") has announced the expansion of its DCL34xx0B series of quad-channel standard digital isolators, introducing four new products specifically designed for industrial equipment. These new additions aim to contribute to lower power consumption, a critical requirement in various industrial applications.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the new products in the lineup are designed to deliver low current consumption of 0.2mA per channel, and they are housed in a compact SSOP16 package. This design supports mid-speed communications, making them suitable for a range of industrial uses. The new offerings include the 'DCL340L0B' and 'DCL340H0B,' which feature four forward channels and zero reverse channels. Additionally, the 'DCL342L0B' and 'DCL342H0B' models come with two forward channels and two reverse channels, providing flexibility in channel configuration for different industrial needs.
