Traffic Crawls On Jalan Gua Musang-Kuala Lipis Amid Increased Vehicles

Gua Musang: Traffic on several major federal roads in the Gua Musang district remained congested due to the rising number of vehicles as of 6pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Gua Musang district police chief Supt Sik Choon Foo reported that the congestion stretched for about six kilometres at the Gua Musang-Kuala Lipis border. However, traffic in Gua Musang town remained smooth despite the increased vehicle numbers.

Supt Sik noted that vehicles are moving slowly and anticipated that traffic volume would continue to rise into the night. In response to the congestion, the number of personnel on duty has been increased to manage the situation.

Additionally, the police are conducting an awareness programme focused on road safety and are distributing small donations to travellers as part of their efforts to maintain safety and assist those on the road.
