A still undetermined number of individuals suffered injuries in a collision involving a bus and motorcycle along the national highway in Sitio Magarwak, Barangay Bacungan here late Monday afternoon, the local police said. According to the report provided by Maj. Noel Manalo, the chief of Puerto Princesa City Police Station 2, the victims of the mishap included Jojemar Palay, a 31-year-old businessman driving his motorcycle, and Alex Piojoy, 43, driver of the roll on-roll off (RoRo) transport bus. Upon initial investigation, it was determined that Piojoy’s bus and Palay’s motorcycle were close to each other while traveling along the national road. The bus skidded on the road and finally came to a stop after it hit a steel railing. As a result of the incident, both Piojoy and Palay, along with several passengers, sustained injuries to various parts of their bodies, as stated in the police report.
