Hanoi:Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, has chosen not to attend the upcoming Conference of Rulers Meeting from October 13 to 15, as he prioritizes state matters, specifically the ceremony for appointing the Undang of Jelebu.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negeri Sembilan, Datuk Azizi Mohamad Ali, stated that attending the Conference does not necessitate an invitation.

Azizi addressed recent media reports suggesting that Tuanku Muhriz had received an invitation, clarifying that no such invitation is required or was received from the Sultan of Perak, who is set to chair the meeting. It was further emphasized that Istana Negeri Sembilan had not released any statements regarding this issue to any media outlets.
