Kuala lumpur: Techna-X Bhd's deputy chairman and executive director Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar has resigned, effective today. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the diversified technology group stated that Tunku Kamariah stepped down due to personal commitment. Her tenure as deputy chairman and executive director was notably brief, having been appointed just four days ago, on September 10.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tunku Kamariah, aged 70, is a member of the Johor royal family. Her sudden resignation comes as Techna-X Bhd also announced today the departure of independent and non-executive director Tengku Shahrain Shah Tengku Sulaiman Shah, who also cited personal commitment as the reason for his resignation.
