Kuala Lumpur: The Turkiye Religious Affairs Foundation is offering full scholarships for Malaysians to pursue Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate (PhD) degrees at Theology Faculties and International Hatip High Schools in Turkiye.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar, announced that applications are open until February 28. This initiative presents a valuable opportunity for Malaysians to further their education in Turkiye. Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar encouraged eligible candidates to seize this opportunity and expressed his gratitude towards the Turkish government and embassy for their support in providing this educational avenue to Malaysians.

Prospective applicants are invited to submit their applications via the official DiYANET BURSLARI Scholarships website at https://diyanetburslari.tdv.org/en/.

In related news, Universiti Malaya (UM) disclosed in a media statement that its Chancellor, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, will honor Turkiye's President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with an Honorary Doctorate in International Relations during his official visit to Malaysia, which commences tomorrow (Monday).
