Pasir gudang: Two 11-year-old children are feared drowned after they were reported missing in the area of a dam at Jalan Murai 2, Taman Scientex, Pasir Gudang here last night. Pasir Gudang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) operation commander, Senior Fire Officer I Haizrul Rahmad, said four personnel were rushed to the scene after the department received an emergency call at about 10.36 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, upon arrival, the operation response team found that there were indeed two victims, who were children reported missing since the afternoon. 'The victims' father informed us that they were feared to have drowned in the dam area after a bicycle and slippers belonging to the victims were found at the scene,' said Senior Fire Officer Haizrul Rahmad in a statement last night.

The team immediately launched a search and rescue operation in the area, with the efforts still ongoing. The incident has raised concerns about the safety measures around the dam area, as families and local residents await further updates from the authorities.
