UMNO Patriotic School Launched to Strengthen Party’s Political Influence

Kuala Lumpur: UMNO president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today inaugurated the UMNO Patriotic School, a new initiative designed to cultivate future leaders who are well-versed in political strategies and embody the spirit of UMNO's ideology. This effort aims to fortify UMNO's standing as a central figure in national politics. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid, who also serves as the Deputy Prime Minister, emphasized the school's role as more than a mere educational platform. It seeks to instill the core spirit of UMNO's mission in the youth, preparing them to be resilient and determined leaders committed to religion, race, and country. Zahid views this as a strategic move to maintain UMNO's relevance and influence in the country's political landscape. The programme has commenced with 50 pioneer participants, focusing on a comprehensive training curriculum that includes critical thinking, strategic leadership, and a profound understanding of UMNO's principles. Ahmad Zahid mentioned that thes e training modules would evolve over time to produce skilled and confident leaders who can uphold and advance the party's objectives. He expressed confidence that the UMNO Patriotic School would serve as a catalyst for nurturing a new generation of leaders. These leaders will not only engage actively in the political sphere but will also contribute significantly to shaping Malaysia's future by participating in idea-sharing, open discussions, and leadership development. Ahmad Zahid lauded UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail and his team for their dedication in establishing the school. Furthermore, UMNO information chief Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said highlighted that the party's top leadership is committed to directly engaging with the school's students to guide them and fulfill the programme's goals. She extended her best wishes to the participants, hoping they will emerge as patriots who restore UMNO's success.
